Microsoft Permissions
To access this app feature as a regular user, the IT administrator must be able to do the following:
A. Upload a Custom App (MS Guide)
B. Manage the App and publish it (MS Guide).

Login
Download App to Teams
- Click the three dots on the left-hand side.
- Search for "Dstny DK Teams Connect".
- Click "Add".
The app is now added to Teams.

First Login as an Agent
The first time you log in, your Microsoft account must be linked to your telephony user account:
Open the Dstny Teams Connect app in Teams.

You will see a login box. Click "Sign In".
Important: Sign in with your Microsoft account first. This only needs to be done the first time you log in.

Select "Microsoft" at the bottom of the new window.
Log in with your Microsoft credentials. After this, the same login window may appear again.
Enter your telephony username/email (the one registered in the telephony system). Usually, this is the same as your Microsoft email.
Unsure? Log in to Self-service > Home > My Profile. If it doesn’t match, contact your telephony administrator.
Login Success: When your groups, caller ID, SMS, and voicemail appear under the "Overview" tab, your Microsoft and Dstny accounts are connected.
Now it is up to your Teams administrator to grant access:
Click "With an admin account, you can give permissions to all other users in the tenant".
Overview
Here you can:
Join or leave ring groups as an agent
Change your outgoing caller ID
Send SMS messages to colleagues and external contacts
Manage voicemails
For calls, use Teams "Calls".
Settings
Here you can configure your personal settings for activity management between Teams and the Dstny telephony system.
Note: Your telephony administrator may have disabled this.
Telephony Administrator
Login steps are the same for everyone.
Administrators in the telephony system have additional functions under the "Organization" tab.
Supervisor
As a supervisor, you can add or remove agents from ring groups
Presence Synchronization Between Teams & Dstny Platform
There are manual and automatic states.
These presence states are synchronized to the Dstny platform according to the activity set in the telephony system.
If no activity is set for a given presence states, nothing happens in the telephony system.
Telephony administrators can create additional presence states in the Dstny platform if needed.
Creating Presence in Dstny Platform:
Log in to Self-service
Click Administrator View in the top left
Go to the Organization tab

Select New Activity
