There may be several reasons why you cannot use data abroad. We have created a checklist that you can go through to ensure that everything is set up correctly.
Follow the steps below in order:
1. Confirm that Roaming Blocked is turned off on your user profile at my.dstny.dk .
If roaming blocked is enabled (yes) on your mobile subscription, you will not be able to connect to a mobile network abroad and therefore won't receive data. You will also not be able to receive SMS notifications about data usage in countries outside the EU.
You need to contact your company’s telecom administrator, who can remove the roaming block.
2. Confirm that data roaming is turned on your mobile phone.
iOS:
- Open Settings
- Select Mobile Network
- Select Data Settings
- Turn on Data Roaming
Android:
-
Open Settings
-
Select Mobile Network
-
Turn on Data Roaming

Manually select a mobile network.
Sometimes, choosing a different mobile network than the one your phone automatically selected upon arriving in a foreign country can help. Select a different network to see if it provides access to data.
iOS:
- Open Settings
- Select Mobile Network
- Select Network Selection
- Turn off Automatic
- Choose a different network than the one selected
Android:
- Open Settings
- Select Mobile Network
- Select Carrier
- Turn off Automatic Selection
- Choose a different network than the one selected
If you have completed the steps above correctly but still do not have data, you should contact your company’s telecom administrator.
